Why is an LPG boiler a good choice?
Not all homes are on the mains gas grid, so alternative sources of fuel must be sought to power your central heating system. LPG is a combination fuel, made up of liquid, petroleum and gas. This powers your boiler, just as gas or oil would separately. Similarly to an oil boiler, the fuel is delivered to a tank outside or under your home, but LPG boilers are usually smaller than oil boilers and can be wall-mounted. This often makes them a better buy in terms of saving space in your home.
LPG provides an effective alternative to an oil boiler or gas boiler and is also a more environmentally sound choice than installing a boiler powered solely by oil.

While LPG fuel costs are slightly more expensive than oil, you have more freedom to shop around for the best supplier. With oil, you tend to be at the mercy of fluctuating prices which makes it hard to budget.

As well as being efficient, LPG is a cleaner fuel than oil.

There is no soot produced with LPG, so it may result in a system that’s easier to maintain and keep clean than oil only.
